JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

 

Our centrally-located client is a well-respected, publicly traded organization seeking a degreed, experience staff accountant who is either at, or ready for the responsibilities of a Sr. Accountant.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Heavy corporate GL consolidation activity with information rolling up from many business units.

 

Assisting with the Financial Reporting package to upper management and Board of Directors.

 

Providing information and assisting, as needed, with the External Reporting group in the preparation and filing of 10-Q, 10-K, etc.

 

Necessary Qualifications:

 

 

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

 

At least 3 years of experience in public accounting, ideally with a public/private mix.

 

5 years of corporate accounting experience in a large, publicly traded company can be substituted for the public accounting.

 

Preference given to candidates with:

 

 

CPA or CMA certification

 

Excellent job stability
