General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for an Advanced Systems Engineer to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDAIS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to create and manage various GDAIS and client technologies. Specific responsibilities:
Support the design, development, integration and test of terrestrial SIGINT systems
Be a key member of engineering teams to solve complex antenna, receiver, digital signal processing, and signal analysis problems
Perform classical system engineering activities, to include systems requirements analysis and development of specifications, design descriptions, and verification plans and procedures.
Prepare and present technical reviews for internal and external customers. Has constant interaction with the program management team, as well as frequent meetings with internal leadership teams and external customers.
Interact with other contractor and subcontractor teams, to include generating procurement and hardware
development documents, e.g., performance specifications, interface control documents, and statements of work
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Signal, RF Path, and Trade off analysis. Test//integration and SIGINT collection
Able to travel worldwide, up to 20% expected
