Requirements: We are recruiting a Child Protection Manager to provide guidance, advice and support on Child Protection processes to IRW and IR Family members (Partners and Field offices). The post holder will lead the development and implementation of a ‘cross cutting’ corporate and global strategy to mitigate the exploitation and abuse of children. 

 

The job holder will take the lead on the development of policy, best practice and technical support and will engage with institutional donors and child protection organisations to influence their policies and strategies. In addition, she/he will lead and manage effective mechanisms for staff reporting and responses to concerns of exploitation and abuse.

 

The successful candidate should have extensive experience and track record in Humanitarian work in relation to Child Protection to be able to provide Field operatives the guidance and experience within this specialised environment, and qualifications to at least BS.c or B.A standard. The successful candidate should also have experience of preparing and coordinating budgets and monitoring and evaluating programmes.
