The Opportunity
Weāre seeking aĀ Head of MarketingĀ to build and scale our marketing function. Youāll own the complete marketing strategy across all UMG products, driving brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth across the $3 trillion halal economy.
Youāll work directly with both co-founders (15+ years combined ad tech experience) to build a marketing engine that combines:
- Brand positioning for multiple products across diverse audiences
- Growth marketing and performance optimization
- Content strategy that resonates with Muslim values
- Thought leadership in the Muslim digital economy

What Youāll Own
Marketing Strategy & Execution (40%)
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy across all UMG products
- Own lead generation and conversion optimization for MuslimReach, MasjidConnect, UmmahJobs, and other products
- Build content marketing engine (blog, social, email, video) that serves the Muslim community
- Drive SEO strategy, AI visibility optimization, and organic growth
- Manage brand positioning and messaging across diverse Muslim audiences globally
- Measure and optimize marketing ROI with data-driven decision making
- Position Muslim Ad Network as THE thought leader in Muslim advertising and media
Growth Marketing & Performance (30%)
- Develop customer acquisition strategies across channels (paid, organic, partnerships, AI-driven discovery)
- Build and optimize conversion funnels for publishers, advertisers, and users
- Implement growth experiments and A/B testing
- Drive publisher and client acquisition campaigns for MuslimReach advertising platform
- Scale successful channels efficiently while maintaining halal compliance
- Manage partnerships and co-marketing initiatives with Muslim organizations
- Create case studies and success stories that demonstrate our impact
Brand Development & Thought Leadership (20%)
- Position Muslim Ad Network as the trusted leader in Muslim advertising and media
- Create compelling brand narratives for each product line
- Develop thought leadership content and speaking opportunities
- Manage public relations and media outreach to Muslim and mainstream press
- Represent UMG at industry events (halal economy conferences, Muslim tech events)
- Build relationships within Muslim business and tech community
- Establish UMG values and mission in all marketing communications
Team Building & Collaboration (10%)
- Build and lead marketing team as we scale (start solo, grow strategically)
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations on go-to-market strategy
- Manage contractors and agencies for specialized needs (design, video, paid ads)
- Mentor junior marketers as team grows
- Champion marketing best practices and continuous improvement
What You Bring
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of marketing experience with proven track record of driving growth
- Strong performance marketing skills (you understand funnels, CAC, LTV, and growth metrics)
- Content creation ability (you can write compelling copy and create engaging content yourself)
- Data-driven mindset (you use analytics to make decisions, not gut feel)
- B2B marketing experience (you understand long sales cycles and relationship-based selling)
- Self-starter mentality (you can build strategy and execute from scratch without hand-holding)
- Cross-functional collaboration skills (youāve worked with sales, product, and ops teams)
- Alignment with Islamic values and understanding of Muslim market sensitivities

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Philosophy:
