Accounts Payable Clerk

Saturna Capital Corporation, a Bellingham, Washington-based independent investment advisor founded in 1989, manages over $8 billion in assets and serves as adviser to the Amana Mutual Funds Trust — the oldest and largest family of Sharia-compliant mutual funds in the United States.

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team on-site in Bellingham. This is a full-time position focused on end-to-end accounts payable operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursement requests through the full AP cycle
• Review and verify invoice accuracy and supporting documentation
• Enter invoice data into accounting systems with meticulous attention to detail
• Prepare and execute payment runs using checks, ACH transfers, and electronic payment methods
• Reconcile corporate credit card statements with receipts and supporting documentation
• Provide general accounting department support as needed

**Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounts payable or accounting/financial reporting experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

**Additional Requirements**

• Within the first nine months of employment, you must successfully obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 certifications
• Candidates must pass pre-employment screening including logic/aptitude testing, comprehensive background check, credit check, and reference verification

**Compensation and Benefits**

Full-time, on-site position in Bellingham, WA.

Hourly rate: $24.04–$33.65 depending on experience
