The Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) is a fast-growing nonprofit dedicated to increasing American Muslim representation in fields that shape public policy and public opinion. They provide scholarships, mentorships, internships, fellowships, and leadership development programs.
As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive operational support to the Executive Director and Program Manager across four core functional areas:
**Administration & Operations**
- Manage email and phone communications on behalf of leadership
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings
- Procure and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Support new employee onboarding processes
- Assist with employee healthcare enrollment
- Maintain and update the organization's website
- Edit and proofread documents and reports
**Program Support**
- Assist with grant and scholarship applicant selection processes
- Help plan and execute organizational events
- Support social media promotion of ISF programs and initiatives
**Accounting & Finance**
- Perform monthly financial reconciliations
- Track and manage organizational expenses
- Process and record donations
- Maintain the organization's CRM database
**Fundraising & Development**
- Assist with donor engagement campaigns
- Support other development activities as directed
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. institution
- 2–3 years of administrative experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong project management abilities in fast-paced environments
- Excellent attention to detail and professional demeanor
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with Muslim culture and community
- Digital marketing strategy experience
- CRM system proficiency
- Graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop or Spark)
- Mailchimp email marketing experience
**Compensation & Benefits:**
- Annual salary: $48,000–$60,000

**Position Details:**
This is a full-time role that is primarily remote, though candidates based near Berkeley, California are preferred. The organization office is located at 1935 Addison St Suite A, Berkeley, CA.
