Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager

Job Description

• Assist in planning, supervising and coordinating nursing activities within the unit.

• Oversee the unit as incharge to maintain clinical, operational and service standards

• Ensure safe and high-quality patient care, clinical excellence and proper documentation

• Manage staff assignments based on patient acuity and maintain optimal staffng levels

• Ensure compliance with Infection Control and medication administration standards

• Support staff training, performance evaluations and orientation of new nurses

• Investigate patient complaints, review incident reports and ensure corrective actions

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

• 10 years of clinical nursing experience, including 3 – 4 years in a supervisory role

• BLS/ACLS certified

Required Qualification: Bachelor
Specific Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BScN)
