Overview Of The Role:
The Workshop / Bodyshop Supervisor - is tasked with optimizing workshop labor and resources to achieve operational efficiency targets. This includes ensuring the repair and service activities conducted by the team meet quality and safety standards within specified timelines. The role seeks to improve business operations by securing external accident repair jobs and enhancing customer satisfaction through efficiency and effective communication.
What You Will Do:
Prepare the team for upcoming jobs by allocating job cards according to skill set and efficiency level to maximize throughput.
Review pre-order forms to ensure parts requirements match the issues to fix problems effectively.
Ensure quality checks are conducted on finished jobs by technicians to minimize return jobs and complaints.
Prepare quotations and coordinate with insurance surveyors for approval on accident repair work.
Review workshop figures, such as hours sold and worked versus idle hours, and prepare reports for management discussions.
Monitor customer communication through Service Advisors to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Improve the competency of team members and ensure tools/equipment function correctly.
Achieve revenue and gross margin in line with budget figures and seek improvements.
Secure business from outside vendors to enhance Tier2 business.
Support emergency and 24x7 service for breakdowns and urgent customer needs.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Technical proficiency in vehicle diagnosis and understanding of body shop processes.
Proven ability to lead, adapt, and work collaboratively with teams.
