Business Development Manager — Sales & Strategic Partnerships (Broadcast TV & Digital Media)

Islam Channel seeks a Business Development Manager to drive advertising revenue growth and build strategic commercial partnerships across their broadcast television and digital media platforms. This full-time, in-person position is based in Ilford, East London.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the client base while meeting revenue targets and managing individual accounts
• Prospect new clients and nurture existing customer relationships to drive sales growth
• Lead client meetings to understand advertising needs and requirements
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to inform commercial strategy
• Manage advertising campaigns from briefing through delivery and post-campaign reporting
• Monitor account performance, identify trends, and escalate to management
• Negotiate contracts in accordance with company policies
• Submit regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates to leadership
• Support weekend and bank holiday coverage for live broadcast events as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in sales, marketing, business development, or related field (preferred)
• Prior experience in broadcast media sales (advantageous)
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Personal network and existing relationships within the UK Muslim community (highly valued)
• Must be able to commute to Ilford office for in-person work

What's Offered

• Full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
• Competitive salary: £33,000–£65,000 depending on experience
