Chief Accountant

The Centralsian Halal Medical Association, a Sharia-compliant healthcare clinic based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead all accounting and financial operations while ensuring full compliance with Uzbek regulations.

Role Overview

You will serve as Chief Accountant at the organization's central Tashkent location (Hamid Alimjan Square, 13A), managing the complete financial and accounting infrastructure of this halal medical clinic. Working a standard five-day week (10:00–17:00), you will report directly on all accounting and financial compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive accounting records and maintain compliance with Uzbek legislation
• Prepare, review, and submit accounting, tax, and statistical reports to meet all deadlines
• Oversee and verify primary financial documentation
• Coordinate with banking institutions and government agencies on financial and regulatory matters
• Supervise payroll calculations and ensure compliance with all related tax obligations
• Monitor and maintain ongoing financial compliance with national law and regulations
• Perform financial analysis and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Chief Accountant role
• Strong knowledge of Uzbekistan's accounting and tax code
• Proficiency in 1C:Enterprise 8, 1C:Payroll and HR, Didox, and Microsoft Excel
• Expertise in financial analysis and document management (1C:Document Management)
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of financial data
• High level of responsibility and accuracy in financial record-keeping
