Position: Donor Care Officer
Organization: Islamic Help, a UK-based Muslim humanitarian charity funding relief and development programs across multiple countries.
Employment Terms
- Full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week
- Based in Birmingham office
- Salary: £27,000–£29,000 per annum

Role Overview
As a Donor Care Officer, you will manage relationships with supporters and ensure their contributions fund global relief and development initiatives. You serve as both an outreach representative and operational support within the fundraising team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective donors, promoting campaigns and processing donations accurately
- Respond to supporter inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person visits
- Maintain and update donor records in the CRM system with attention to accuracy
- Provide welcoming front-of-house presence, greeting office visitors and fielding general inquiries
- Perform administrative and clerical support tasks
- Escalate urgent or complex concerns to appropriate team members
- Collaborate across departments on fundraising campaigns and initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (may be tested at interview)
- Customer-service focused mindset
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable approach
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior customer service or donor relations experience
- Fluency in Urdu or Bengali (particularly valued given supporter demographics)
