Executive Director – Full Time

CAIR-Arizona, the state chapter of the nation's leading Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the organization's strategic vision and mission. This full-time role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Arizona's Muslim community advocacy and civil rights protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all departmental operations and manage team members
• Develop and execute long-term organizational strategy and plans
• Manage budget planning, financial operations, and fundraising initiatives
• Lead annual banquets, Ramadan campaigns, and other major fundraising efforts
• Serve as the primary public face and spokesperson for CAIR-Arizona
• Communicate strategically with the Board of Directors and external stakeholders
• Organize committees and coordinate board meetings
• Protect and advocate for the civil rights of Arizona's Muslim community
• Build relationships with influential community contacts and partner organizations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Master's or advanced degree preferred)
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with a Board of Directors
• At least 3 years of nonprofit sector experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Public speaking ability
• Demonstrated fundraising experience
• Track record of building influential community relationships and partnerships
