Muslim Media Hub is a Muslim-run media organization dedicated to amplifying authentic Muslim voices and creating meaningful content that reflects the richness of the Muslim community.
**About the Role**
You will work as a Film and Documentary Editor on the production team, responsible for cutting and assembling a diverse range of content. You'll shape raw material into coherent, emotionally resonant stories with strong narrative instinct, pacing, and tone appropriate for Muslim community audiences.
**Content Types & Responsibilities**
- Edit scripted short films and long-form documentary features
- Produce talking-head and interview-driven content
- Create seasonal programming around major Islamic observances, including Ramadan specials
- Assemble broadcast materials
- Work closely with producers and directors to realize creative vision through post-production
**Requirements**
The role requires
- Strong narrative instinct and storytelling ability
- Eye for pacing, tone, and audience engagement in Muslim-community storytelling
- Experience with the content types listed above (preferred/demonstrated through portfolio)
