Saturna Capital Corporation seeks an Investor Services Supervisor for its Bellingham, Washington headquarters. This full-time, in-person leadership position manages the Investor Services team that supports clients of the Amana Mutual Funds Trust—America's longest-established and largest suite of Islamic-compliant (halal) mutual funds.
**Role Overview:**
You will provide hands-on leadership and operational direction to the Investor Services department, overseeing daily team performance, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. This blends supervisory responsibilities with active client-facing work.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead, train, and evaluate the Investor Services team; manage staffing, coverage, and performance assessments
- Approve new brokerage accounts and review compliance and regulatory documentation
- Participate directly in client service operations and transaction processing when needed
- Monitor and improve work quality; resolve escalated and complex account issues
- Research and implement industry regulatory changes to maintain compliance and operational standards
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives including audits and training programs
- Maintain and test the departmental Business Continuity Plan
- Oversee vendor relationships, system access management, and IT coordination
- Manage project timelines with operations and other teams
- Ensure ongoing adherence to FINRA and SEC regulations
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent professional experience
- 7–10 years of customer service and supervisory/managerial experience in financial institutions
- Proven leadership and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with macOS (preferred)
**Certifications:**
You must obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 24 certifications within nine months of hire. Medallion program completion and a notary commission are preferred.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually (based on experience)
