Yala is a rapidly growing halal fast-casual restaurant chain with over 20 locations across the United States. Founded by Muslims and grounded in values of community and purpose, Yala serves halal American comfort food while directing five percent of every sale to support community organizations including the Hope Bus and Umma Foundation.
The Kitchen Cook role is based at our Staten Island, New York location and is a full-time, on-site position. You will be responsible for preparing dishes according to Yala's established recipes and standards, maintaining consistent food quality and presentation across every shift. The role involves working at a steady pace to keep the kitchen operations running smoothly while ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen meets Yala's quality expectations.

Qualifications
- Prior professional cooking or kitchen experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work full-time, on-site in a fast-paced kitchen environment
