Role Overview
CelebrateMercy is seeking a Growth Marketing Specialist to support and optimize our digital marketing and fundraising campaigns.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with growth potential, where you will work closely with the Marketing Director to translate strategy into high-performing campaigns across email, SMS, and landing pages.
You will play a key role in ensuring campaigns are executed smoothly – and contribute to improving their performance through thoughtful copy, testing, and iteration.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Execution
Build and schedule email, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns
Create and update landing pages (GiveCloud)
Execute campaign calendars and timelines in alignment with the Marketing Director
Copywriting & Messaging
Draft and refine email and SMS campaigns for fundraising and program promotion
Apply clear, engaging, and emotionally resonant messaging to drive action
Test subject lines, hooks, and CTAs to improve performance
Revise messaging based on feedback and performance insights
Lifecycle Marketing Support
Help build and maintain email/SMS sequences (welcome, donor follow-up, re-engagement)
Support audience segmentation based on engagement and giving behavior
Assist in improving donor retention and repeat engagement
Marketing Operations & Systems
Maintain tagging, lists, and segmentation in Kajabi
Support automation setup
Performance Tracking & Optimization
Track key metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions)
Compile and share performance insights
Identify small but meaningful improvements to campaigns and funnels
Working Relationship
Work closely with the Marketing Director, who sets overall strategy and messaging direction
Receive guidance and approvals on key campaigns and messaging
Take ownership of execution and day-to-day optimization within clear direction

Campaigns are executed smoothly, accurately, and on time
Email and SMS performance improves over time
Messaging becomes stronger through iteration and testing
Marketing systems are organized and reliable
Marketing execution is streamlined, enabling greater focus on strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve campaigns, messaging, and systems, and brings forward thoughtful ideas for testing and iteration
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
2–4+ years in digital marketing or campaign execution
Strong writing skills, particularly for email or SMS
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns
Comfortable working with marketing tools and basic analytics
A sincere interest in the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and a desire to contribute to work that helps others know, love, and follow him
Preferred
Experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools
Familiarity with Kajabi, Zapier, or similar systems
Experience in nonprofit or fundraising campaigns
Growth Opportunity
This role is designed for someone who is eager to grow into a more strategic marketing role over time, with increasing ownership of campaign performance and optimization.
Note: Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a short writing exercise focused on email or SMS campaign execution.
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience with a range of $40k-$55k a year
Bonuses may be awarded based on individual performance and organizational results.
