Product Designer - Mobile UX/UI & Motion

Ihsan is building a comprehensive super app designed to unite and serve the global Muslim community. Starting with Ihsan Connect, a private messenger for Muslims worldwide, the platform is planned to expand into payments (Ihsan Pay), commerce, investment, education, and media services — all integrated into a single ecosystem.

The Role

As founding Product Designer, you will own the complete mobile user experience (UX/UI) and in-app motion design for Ihsan's iOS and Android apps. Working closely with founders, product leadership, and React Native engineers, you will shape the visual identity and user journeys from conception through shipped products. This is a full-time, fully remote position open worldwide.

What You'll Design

• Private messaging experiences including groups, profiles, contacts, and communities
• Ihsan Pay financial flows: account balances, peer-to-peer transfers, QR-code payments, card management, and transaction history
• Premium membership and subscription interfaces
• Micro-interactions, animations, and transitions that enhance the user experience
• Accessible, multilingual experiences supporting future Arabic right-to-left (RTL) layout
• Interactive prototypes to validate product ideas before development

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design process from early concept through development-ready specifications
• Create and maintain a scalable, component-based design system in Figma
• Design clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces for all major features
• Produce interactive prototypes using motion tools (Rive, Lottie, After Effects, Principle, or ProtoPie)
• Collaborate directly with React Native developers during implementation
• Review shipped features to ensure fidelity to intended design
• Identify UX friction points and propose solutions
• Establish and maintain high design standards as the team grows
• Ensure consistent experience across all platform areas: messaging, payments, commerce, and community

Required Experience

• 5+ years designing consumer digital products
• Proven shipping experience on iOS and Android apps
• Strong portfolio demonstrating personally designed mobile app work
• Expert-level Figma proficiency: components, variants, auto-layout, and design systems
• UX expertise: user flows, information architecture, onboarding, and usability best practices
• Visual design mastery: typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and whitespace
• Experience creating polished interactive prototypes
• Demonstrated skill with motion and micro-interaction design tools
• Deep understanding of iOS App Store and Android Google Play platform conventions
• Fluent English communication
• High ownership mentality and comfort in early-stage, founding environments

Strong Advantages

• Portfolio including React Native product design

Not Suitable

This role is not for designers whose background is primarily marketing graphics, social-media content creation, video editing, branding-only work, or website design without shipped mobile app experience.
