Senior Religious Tourism Leader – Hajj & Umrah Pilgrimage Groups

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ash-Shaykh Zāyid, Giza, Egypt. You will lead and manage Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage groups from Egypt throughout their complete journey to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, serving as their primary point of contact and guide.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify all travel documentation and pilgrim records to ensure compliance before departure
• Conduct comprehensive pre-departure orientation sessions to prepare groups for the pilgrimage experience and rituals
• Manage all airport procedures including check-in, transit coordination, and arrival logistics
• Arrange and oversee group accommodations and ground transportation throughout Saudi Arabia
• Provide continuous on-the-ground support, spiritual guidance, and pastoral care to pilgrims throughout the journey
• Monitor group safety and well-being at all times
• Handle emergencies and crisis situations as they arise
• Prepare detailed post-trip reports documenting performance, incidents, challenges, and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
• 2–5 years of proven experience leading Hajj and Umrah groups specifically
• Deep knowledge of Hajj and Umrah rituals, procedures, and complete logistics for Makkah and Madinah
• Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis management skills
• Experience coordinating with Saudi service providers and local vendors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, hotel and tour booking systems, WhatsApp Business, and Google Maps
• Native or fluent Arabic required; working proficiency in English
• Willingness to travel internationally with pilgrimage groups each season

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Islamic Studies or Sharia law combined with relevant operational Hajj/Umrah experience

The role requires regular international travel accompanying pilgrim groups and demands a high level of responsibility for group welfare and spiritual support throughout the pilgrimage.
