Sales Representative

Dive Club Maldives is a locally-owned dive and water-sports centre located on Hulhumale' Island in the Maldives. Committed to halal practices with no alcohol or haram products involved, the business specializes exclusively in diving, snorkelling, and ocean-based excursions.

About the role

This is a full-time, customer-facing position within the guest-services team. You'll be the primary point of contact for visiting customers, welcoming guests, explaining our dive programmes and excursion offerings, and guiding them through the complete booking journey.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all customers visiting the dive shop, providing warm and professional guest services
• Explain the full range of dive courses (beginner through advanced levels), excursion packages, and supplementary services available
• Manage the entire sales cycle from initial customer inquiry through to confirmed booking and payment
• Maintain current knowledge of all diving activities, course structures, pricing, and active promotions
• Collaborate with the marketing team on initiatives to increase footfall, online visibility, and sales performance
• Monitor and report on customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activity to management
• Maintain accurate and detailed sales records and prepare required reports
• Assist with monthly inventory and stock checks
• Support general operational and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Proven track record in sales and customer service roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to connect effectively with international visitors
• Working knowledge of diving and water-sports tourism (prior diving experience or formal certification is advantageous)
• Ability to work towards and exceed sales targets consistently
• Well-organized with strong multitasking and time-management abilities
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Compensation & location

MVR 8,000 per month, full-time position. Based on Hulhumale' Island, Maldives.
