Shift Leader

The Halal Guys is an iconic Egyptian-American halal street food restaurant founded by Muslim immigrants, offering authentic halal cuisine. You'll manage daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts and support the management team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead floor operations with consistent guest interaction to build relationships and enhance satisfaction
• Address guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
• Manage inventory, monitor food quality, and control operational costs
• Operate the Revel point-of-sale system and provide technical troubleshooting
• Monitor equipment maintenance and minimize food waste
• Direct team members on daily procedures, sanitation standards, and checklists
• Recruit, train, and develop new staff members
• Drive team performance toward hospitality and productivity targets

Required Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and strong availability to support management needs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding management communications
• Demonstrated proficiency across all store positions
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment
• Physical capability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
