Sticker – Halal Blesser

JBS USA operates a dedicated halal processing facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where this full-time position plays a critical role in maintaining halal compliance across the production line.

**Role Overview**

As a Sticker-Halal Blesser, you perform essential duties that ensure the halal integrity of the entire harvest process. This includes verifying correct animal stunning procedures, performing the required Islamic Tasmiyah (Bismillah) blessing audibly on each carcass in accordance with halal certification standards, executing the sticking procedure with precision, and maintaining equipment cleanliness and sanitary conditions throughout your shift.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Verify animals are stunned correctly prior to slaughter
• Perform Islamic blessing (Tasmiyah) on each carcass according to halal certification requirements
• Execute sticking procedures accurately and safely
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and sanitary standards
• Ensure ongoing compliance with USDA regulations and third-party halal certification requirements
• Report to the Harvest Production Supervisor

**Requirements & Qualifications**

• Must be a practicing Muslim, as required by the third-party halal certification standards
• Valid, actively maintained Halal Blesser Certification required
• Basic understanding of humane slaughter practices preferred
• Prior meat or food processing experience beneficial but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and animal welfare
• Dependability, clear verbal communication, and willingness to work weekends
