Job Description

The Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority (PDS&CEA), a government education body in Punjab, is seeking a male Teacher of Islamic Studies for a contract position at its Centre of Excellence (Boys) campus in Sialkot.

Role Overview

This is an on-site teaching position focused on instructing secondary school students in Islamic Studies (Islamiat) at a government institution dedicated to educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Islamiat, or equivalent (BS/BA Honours) with minimum second division; or Shahadat ul Alamia from Wafaq ul Madaris or Tanzeem ul Madaris with equivalent standing
  • 16 years of formal education minimum
  • CGPA minimum 2.50 out of 4.00 (or 3.50 out of 5.00 on five-point scale)
  • Male candidates only
  • No criminal convictions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Islamic Studies (M.A. Islamiat)
  • Teaching credentials (M.Ed or B.Ed)
  • Coursework in Islamiat or Arabic language
