Technology Operations & Support Officer

The National Zakat Foundation (NZF) is seeking a Technology Operations & Support Officer to join its London office on a hybrid basis. As the UK's leading Zakat institution, NZF helps Muslims calculate and distribute Zakat to those in need across Britain, and this role is central to ensuring the organisation's technology infrastructure supports this mission.

The postholder will serve as the primary technology support contact for all NZF staff, volunteers, and partners, ensuring systems and devices operate reliably and enabling the team to focus on their core work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second-line technical support to staff, volunteers, and organisational partners, resolving issues efficiently and clearly
• Manage devices, user accounts, and cloud platform administration to maintain operational continuity
• Support the reliability and daily operations of NZF's core business systems
• Coordinate with external technology suppliers and service providers, managing contracts and service levels
• Oversee technology governance activities and maintain appropriate documentation and records
• Ensure critical systems remain available during peak periods, including peak Zakat seasons

What we're looking for

A technical professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting colleagues, and continuously improving how technology enables organisational impact. Mid-level experience is expected, along with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

What we offer

Full-time permanent contract, hybrid working (London-based), £35,000–£40,000 per annum. Applications close 1 August 2026.
