Associate Director

Tajan Quran Institute, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, seeks a full-time Associate Director to lead daily operations across its evening, weekend, and adult education programs. Reporting to the Director of Education, the successful candidate will oversee a high-quality Islamic learning environment serving students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of evening, weekend, and adult Quranic Arabic and Islamic studies programs
• Supervise instructional staff and conduct formal performance evaluations
• Monitor educational quality and track student achievement outcomes
• Maintain a positive, enriching Islamic learning environment
• Manage student attendance, discipline processes, and family engagement initiatives
• Coordinate program schedules, events, and instructional resources across all programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Islamic Studies, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in both classroom teaching and educational leadership
• Background in teacher supervision and mentoring
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Clear alignment with Tajan's Islamic educational mission and values

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or Islamic Studies
• Direct experience leading Quranic or Arabic language programs
• Background in nonprofit or Islamic educational settings
