Elementary Homeroom Teachers (All Grades) – Maarif School

Maarif Foundation USA, part of the international Maarif Islamic schools network, is recruiting elementary homeroom teachers to join its Bloomfield, New Jersey campus for the 2026-2027 school year.

The school maintains an Islamic learning environment grounded in respect, integrity, and strong character development. Teachers in this role will:

• Teach core subjects—English, Math, Science, and Social Studies—aligned with academic standards and the school's expectations
• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support student learning
• Build and maintain positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom environments
• Monitor student progress and communicate consistently with families and school administration
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school's Islamic mission and support student development

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills; genuine passion for teaching young learners; and a commitment to supporting an Islamic school environment. Prior elementary teaching experience is preferred but not required.
