Job Description
Al Furqan Academy, an online Quran and Islamic education institution, is seeking experienced Online Quran Teachers for a fully remote position. You will deliver one-to-one interactive Quranic instruction to students of all ages—children, teenagers, and adults—across the globe.
Your core responsibilities will include
- Conducting live one-on-one Quran classes tailored to each student's learning pace and goals
- Teaching Quran recitation with authentic Tajweed rules, accurate Makharij (articulation points), and proper pronunciation
- Guiding students through Quran memorization (Hifz) programs with structured daily revision schedules
- Developing customized lesson plans based on individual student assessments and needs
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive reports to parents/guardians
- Maintaining an encouraging, patient, and spiritually grounded teaching environment
You must have
- An Ijazah in Quran recitation (Hafiz or Tajweed certification strongly preferred)
- A minimum of one year of documented online or in-person Quran teaching experience
- Practical mastery of Tajweed rules and phonetics
- Fluent English communication (Arabic bilingual skills are an advantage)
- A stable, high-speed internet connection
- A dedicated, quiet home office space
- HD webcam and quality microphone
- Proficiency with Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen-sharing platforms
