Teachers – Multiple Subjects (Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies, Art, PE, Islamic Studies)

Annur Islamic School in Schenectady, New York is seeking qualified teachers for multiple subject areas including Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, Social Studies, Art, Physical Education, and Islamic Studies. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with rolling applications through June 2027.

In this role, you will deliver engaging, student-centered instruction tailored to individual learning needs and learning styles. You will foster deep understanding of core concepts through differentiated lessons, implement age-appropriate and culturally responsive teaching practices, actively integrate Islamic values and character development throughout the curriculum, maintain regular constructive communication with parents and guardians, and collaborate with staff members to support the school's mission.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred), relevant teaching certification where applicable, and demonstrated prior experience teaching the specific subject at the appropriate grade level. You must possess strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills, commitment to collaborative teamwork, and genuine passion for educating students and supporting their success.
